The Green Bay Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25 in Super Bowl XLV to earn the Lombardi Trophy. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was named Super Bowl MVP. Wide receiver Greg Jennings scored two touchdowns.

In this case, the Super Bowl itself mirrored the Packer’s season. The team suffered key injuries on offense and defense–losing both starting wide receiever Donald Driver and cornerback Charles Woodson in the second half. Again, the Packers were forced to face adversity and in this case overcome it again.
